Massage is often confused with the word “luxury”, growing up I myself have had the same thought.  It wasn’t until I began my journey at Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy that I learned that massage is actually a healing process.

Whether you are looking to relax, manage your pain, cope with daily stress, or even create better range of motion, massage is the key to opening the door to higher living. Your ability to think positively affects your ability to function physically. It is all connected! Healing begins within!

When we take the time to educate ourselves we receive the gift of “self-knowledge” and only then are we able to cope with life changes effectively. We learn something new every day and what I find fascinating with massage therapy is that there is always room for growth and improvement, not just for the practitioner, but for the client as well. It is very rewarding to be able to do so together with the people I touch.

I graduated from Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in July of 2016. My journey then continued at Cortiva Institute where I obtained my massage therapy License in January of 2021 and later graduated in March of 2021. My niche is deep tissue and Swedish massage. I plan to expand my knowledge and obtain my Reiki masters, orthopedic massage certification, lymphatic massage certification, Oncology massage certification, and learn other modalities such as, bamboo massage, hot stone, and hydrotherapy. During the day I am a Community Services Case Manager where I connect people to basic needs, resources and advocate for them. Growing up I have always known that helping others is my life purpose and with massage therapy I am able to do so at a higher level.
